Homemade Sonic Screwdriver

Description

My own homemade sonic screwdriver for my Doctor Who cosplay. Not quite an exact replica, but pretty close (a little imagination never hurt anyone). I made it with 2 sparkplugs (they're used on the very top and the very bottom), a small pipe-like thing (the middle/handle of the screwdriver), and then this other thing (it's like a pipe kind of on the bottom but it can screw into something else. The top part of it can be adjusted to be bigger or smaller with these 2 screws on the sides of it to make it tighter or looser). I'll call that piece the "Adjustable Connector".
MINI TUTORIAL:
Take one spark plug and put the bottom of it into the top (the adjustable end) of the Adjustable Connector and tighten it so that the spark plug won't move. Once you're done with that, take the bottom of the Adjustable Connector and fit it in the small pipe (on mine, the pipe was a little too small, so it didn't really fit very easily, just kinda wedged itself in just enough so that it didn't fall off when I let go of it). You'll want to solder it in place (I think that's the right word for it), and hopefully that should hold it in place permanently. I didn't have the luxury of that option, so I was left with a glue gun as my only real option, which didn't really work.... like at all. (it's extremely delicate). Then finally, take the long part of the second sparkplug and put it inside the other end of the pipe (look at the picture for reference if you don't know what I'm talking about), then either solder, hot glue, or find some other form of adhesive to get it to stay. And tada!!! You're own sonic screwdriver. I'm not sure how much it would cost to complete this if you bought all the supplies from a hardware store, because I made this with random things I found in and around my Mom's toolbox in the basement. Gotta love imaginative ingenuity.
Hopefully I can make a little tutorial for this sometime in the future, which will definitely help all you DIY'ers out there who don't feel like spending $30 on a plastic Sonic Screwdriver.
